Unofficial LinkedIn Profile API
I have been foaming at the mouth since I read this post about a LinkedIn API. (For the none techie - an API gives you the ability to grab information from LinkedIn and pull that data in to another website, plus a whole lot more). However, so far LinkedIn has yet to deliver anything I can use.
On the bright side, I think LinkedIn’s decision to utilize Google’s OpenSocial platform, will ultimately bring my dreams data freedom to fruition. But being the impatient person that I am, I can wait no longer. And ultimately, I have decided to take matters in to my own fingers and write a LinkedIn Public Profile API.
Let’s use my LinkedIn Profile as an example:

LinkedIn API XML Profile: http://jobfu.org/brandoncorbin-asxml
The Result is an XML document containing all of the information from the Users public profile, as well as the last 10 blog posts (if the user supplied a “My Blog” or “My RSS Feed”).

Amazing Sunset on Mars [Photo]
On May 19, 2005, NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover Spirit captured this stunning view as the Sun sank below the rim of Gusev crater on Mars. This Panoramic Camera mosaic was taken around 6:07 in the evening of the rover’s 489th Martian day, or sol.
Sunset and twilight images are occasionally acquired by the science team to determine how high into the atmosphere the Martian dust extends, and to look for dust or ice clouds. Other images have shown that the twilight glow remains visible, but increasingly fainter, for up to two hours before sunrise or after sunset. The long Martian twilight (compared to Earth’s) is caused by sunlight scattered around to the night side of the planet by abundant high altitude dust. Similar long twilights or extra-colorful sunrises and sunsets sometimes occur on Earth when tiny dust grains that are erupted from powerful volcanoes scatter light high in the atmosphere.

Let’s take a moment of silence for the one of the most influential guitar legends - Bo Diddley. When your done - crank up your volume and honor Bo’s life he way he lived it - LOUDLY. Bo died today (june 2nd) at the age of 79, due to heart failure.

Discovery News: Bacteria-Run Computer Solves Math Puzzle
May 28, 2008 — A new living computer, bred from E. coli bacteria instead of stamped from silica, has for the first time successfully solved a classic mathematical puzzle known as the Burnt Pancake Problem.
While this bacteria-based computer is more proof of concept than practical, a living computer might one day solve complex mathematical problems faster than silicon supercomputers.

Phoenix Lander parachuting down to Mars (taken from another Orbiter!) [Photo]
On the 25th of May 2008 NASA’s Mars Recon Orbiter took a picture of NASA’s Mars Phoenix Lander parachuting down to Mars. The Phoenix Lander will collect and analyze samples of Martian ice to determine if life has ever existed on Mars. We should start hearing results in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

After 404 hours of “Wordpress Theme Hunting”, my eye-balls can take no more. Rather, I have decided to roll-my-own wordpress visual medley. Don’t get me wrong, there are millions of great themes out there - but somehow I have managed to rationalized the need to develop my own.
I did really enjoy the Facebook theme, and decided to pay homage to the “Copy Cat Theme Style” and created a LinkedIn Clone. A few more tweeks are needed, after which I will release the theme for download (if anyone cares
